When Sherry said she was coming back to town and wanted to set up a family session with her mom, brother, sister-in-law, and their babies, I couldn't wait to see them. I grew up with the Snyder family since childhood and always loved their sense of humor, willingness to help others, and welcoming personalities. Sherry's mom, Sheila, was even my bus driver and school "lunch lady" over the years! When Sherry told me that they had a farm arranged for the session, I was like a kid on Christmas morning! The farm is owned by their family friend who generously allowed us to explore the property and visit the animals. Although the farm is just down the street in Hubbard, Ohio, it was refreshing to get away from the chaos of life and enjoy nature there. It was even more breathtaking during sunset!
The ponds on the farm are amazing! I wonder if they'd let me set up a hammock and camp out by the water with a good book?
Sherry's energetic toddler reminds me so much of my own son! If my boy was on this farm, I have no doubt he would have done anything to hug one of those chickens! Being the mom of two rambunctious kids has been the best training for photographing family sessions like this!
These cousins are the sweetest!
This family session on the farm was a blast! I'm so thankful I was given the opportunity to capture memories for the Snyder family, and for the use of this beautiful Hubbard farm! If you live on a farm or have access to a farm for your own session, I'll be headed your way with my boots and camera in a heartbeat!
