This bridal couple has a special place in my heart. You might remember Nicole and Kenny from our very first blog post, when I gushed over their perfect vintage inspired engagement session at a 1950's style diner in Sharon, PA. After witnessing their contagious laughter and how they adored each other with every glance, I knew right away that their wedding day would be one of my favorites! I started the morning with Nicole and her girls at Salon at Creekside in Canfield, where they were pampered by the talented hair and makeup artists and relaxed with mimosas.
The flower girl got a personalized cup with her very own chocolate milk! Her flower girl shirt is just as sweet. I love this bridal party gift idea!
After hair and makeup at the salon, Nicole and her "I Do Crew" returned to their hotel suite at Courtyard by Marriott in Canfield to get dressed for the wedding. This is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day, when I can spend time photographing all the gorgeous details while the bridesmaids get ready. Nicole's vintage inspired lace dress was beautiful on the hanger, and even more stunning once Nicole was wearing it!
These personalized white, sparkly Converse shoes would be my choice over wearing heels any day!
These are some of the best girls around! They put up with my awkward sense of humor and treated me like an old friend!
Kenny delivered a love note and a beautiful bracelet as a gift to his bride.
While I was with the girls, Joel documented the morning with Kenny and his groomsmen. Look at the groom's face when he read the note that his bride wrote to him! So much love!
Kenny and the guys arrived early to Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park to finish getting ready for the wedding ceremony. I loved watching Kenny and his mom together!
Before Nicole walked up the aisle with her father, Kenny was blindfolded so he could take his first look of his beautiful bride when they got closer on the brick path. Kenny's reaction is the perfect example of how much he admires Nicole. This is the look that most brides hope to get when their groom sees her for the first time walking up the aisle. We were witness to so many warm hearts and joyful tears!
Nicole and Kenny entered the gazebo with their bridal party and closest family to exchange vows, while the rest of the guests surrounded them with love and support. Their joy is contagious!
I love that Nicole and Kenny scheduled plenty of room in their day for family and bridal party portraits in the gardens. They were able to enjoy the time with each other and their loved ones while we captured memories for them.
Nicole and Kenny's wedding reception was at one of our favorite Youngstown area venues, Avion on the Water Banquet Center in Canfield. We enjoyed lots of natural light pouring in the windows during dinner, and a stunning view of the water from the back patio. The tables were decorated with yellow daisies and red roses for the centerpieces. The Coca-Cola bottles and black and red accents were perfect for their 1950s vintage theme! The evening was full of great food, family, friends, dancing, cookies, and endless laughter.
Nicole and Kenny, our prayer for you is that your marriage has even more love and laughter than we had the joy of witnessing on your wedding day. Never lose that feeling of admiration and pride every time you look at each other. Thank you for allowing us to document one of the biggest days of your love story!
