I've been looking forward to Brad and Shaunna's wedding day since the day I met them almost 2 years ago! Brad did what many girlfriends only dream of and hired us to photograph their surprise marriage proposal on the "Kissing Bridge" at University of Mount Union. (This was before my blogging days, but you can see the exciting moment here at our Facebook page in case you missed it.) It was such an honor to be trusted with their special once-in-a-lifetime moment, and I could only imagine how much I would love being their wedding photographer! I was thrilled to photograph their autumn engagement session the next month at Lanterman's Mill at Mill Creek Park, and then a beautiful summer engagement session at Lake Milton last year. I loved getting to know Brad and Shaunna more and more through each photo session leading up to their wedding day. I knew from the start that they had something special together that would only get more amazing with time, and their wedding day was confirmation of that! We ventured out of Youngstown for the weekend to the charming town of Bucyrus, Ohio to celebrate the beginning of their marriage at The Loft at Pickwick Place.
Just wait! This wedding dress is even more beautiful on the bride! And that sparkly ring...
It's easy to find pretty wedding details and accessories at the store, but nothing compares to pieces that are handmade with love from a mother's own wedding gown. This lace garter and pocket square held so much love and meaning as the bride and groom wore part of their family's history.
I have spent a significant amount of my life coloring my hair in shades of red each month, so needless to say I had a bit of hair envy around these naturally beautiful redheads! And Shaunna was a glowing bride the moment they zipped her white dress! I love the lace details!
If we gave an award for most entertaining bridal party, I think these guys would be in the running! I could tell some stories, but we'll save those for the newlyweds to share!
The Loft at Pickwick Place is a rustic wedding venue with brick walls, wood flooring, and so many beautiful details. Brad and Shaunna coordinated all the details and colors perfectly to complement the space.
We are incredibly grateful whenever couples choose us as their wedding photographers, especially when their celebration is overflowing with love, joy, and laughter like the Keller's wedding. Thanks to Brad and Shaunna for allowing us to document some of the most important chapters of your love story!
Special thanks to the other wedding vendors:
